The impeachment hearings in Congress are, for now, over. Millions of Americans are gearing up for Thanksgiving and might be tuning out our Constitutional crisis this week. Vacations are vacations, after all.

However, after two weeks of hearings in Washington, D.C., the scandal continues. There are new allegations around U.S. Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) and his alleged role in connection in with Donald Trump’s Ukraine fascination. Another player helping Trump, Rudy Giuliani, is under federal investigation — and has made near-hysterical appearances on cable news shows.

Congressional Republicans seem quite content with promoting questionable theories about former Vice President Joe Biden, his son Hunter and a Urkainian financial institution, although that could backfire.

As a way to keep his base happy, Trump decided to pardon a Navy Seal recently acquitted of most war-crimes related charges, which in turn lead to Sunday’s firing of Navy Secretary Richard Spencer.

There was some encouraging news this week, courtesy of Hong Kong voters.  We’ll discuss that and other issues during today’s podcast.
