Dec. 14, 2013 — The True Music Festival is making its debut today and with hype and potential that rivals the now legendary McDowell Mountain Music Festival.

Kicking off on Dec. 14, the one-day festival on Salt River Fields At Talking Stick will feature musical acts ranging from EDM to indie, hip-hop to folk rock as well as local musicians, vendors, art installations, roving performers, and likely some surprises.

For more information on the
True Music Festival click here.

Music/Arts editor Jeff Moses is live-blogging to keep those who can’t make it up to date with photos, quotes, and videos. Moses will be all around the festival from start to finish.

He might talk about headliners The Flaming Lips, Whiz Kalifa, and Bassnectar or undercard favorites Capital Cities, Griz, Lord Huron, Kill Paris, HelloGoodbye, He’s My Brother She’s My Sister, Kopecky Family Band, Chevy Woods, and Berner.

You never know what — or who — Jeff will run into or get into.

To interact with Jeff, use the hashtag #TMF_MTM on Twitter.

Tickets range from $75 general admission to their true VIP experience which starts at $1,500 and can be purchased at http://www.truemusicfestival.com/tickets/truevip/.
