Nov. 18, 2015 — The Global Dance Festival will invade Rawhide Western Town & Event Center, 5700 W. North Loop Road, Chandler, Friday, Nov. 20, for an epic blowout.
International acts scheduled to appear include Big Gigantic, Cashmere Cat, Deorro, Gener8ion, Gesaffelstein, Marshmello, Mija, Nghtmre, RL Grime, SBCR, Sweater Beats, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Local acts such as Joeyyy will also perform.
In 2014, the Global Dance festival was held at Tempe Beach park, but the move to Rawhide — which on the surface might be the furthest genre from EDM — is a celebration for event-producer Relentless Beats.
“Producing an event at Rawhide is something Relentless Beats has been working towards for some time," says Relentless Beats founder Thomas Turner. “When we were presented with an opportunity that meant a better overall experience for our fans, we didn’t hesitate to make the decision.”
And as a nod to the location, a mechanical bull will be available for patrons to ride. Three distinct stages, spread out throughout Rawhide, will present the performers: the Alamo Stage, The Tombstone Stage and the OK Corral Stage.
Perhaps the biggest reason for the move is to avoid restrictions present at Tempe Beach Park. At Rawhide, DJs will have no noise restrictions and patrons can enjoy expanded beer, wine and bottle service offerings and an elevated VIP accommodations.
General admission passes are available for $59. VIP passes, with preferred main stage viewing area, bottle service, restrooms and separate entrance are available starting at $89. Tickets are available at www.globaldancefestival.com. Global Dance Festival is an 18 and over event.
